The Suites Pastis Tropea - Boutique B&B are located in the heart of the historic center of Tropea right in front of the beautiful Norman Cathedral (12. century) and represent the perfect starting point to discover the artistic, historical and gastronomic treasures of the city.
The refined and exclusive accommodation, ideal for a few and selected guests, is located on the top floor of a noble palace of the 16th - 18th century which, having been for centuries the home of the noble D'Acquino family first and then Iannelli, took the name of Palazzo D'Acquino - Iannelli.
The three suites, which make up the Pastis Suites together with an elegant shared lounge where a rich breakfast is served every morning, were restored in the years 2010 - 2011 with the aim of preserving as much as possible the architectural, aesthetic and construction characteristics of the home.
In fact, the original cement tiles have been left and, where possible, the vaulted ceilings have been kept.
Everything was then enriched by a mixed antique-modern furniture that gave the Pastis Suites its personality and elegance.
Superior Suite Duomo
The Superior Suite with its large French balconies has a spectacular view of the Norman Cathedral of Tropea and consists of a double bedroom, walk-in closet, bathroom and living room with bookcase and sofa bed for the 3rd and 4th person. Furnished with antique and modern furniture, roof with wooden beams and terracotta floors from the 1700s alternating with cement tiles and parquet, the suite is equipped with air conditioning, heating, minibar, safe, and large satellite TV. The bathroom is equipped with hairdryer, large shower box and courtesy line.
Family Suite Vicolo
The Family Suite, which overlooks the roofs of the historic center of Tropea, consists of a double bedroom, bathroom and living room with sofa bed for the 3rd and 4th person. Furnished with antique and modern furniture, roof with wooden beams and floor with cement tiles, the suite is equipped with air conditioning, heating, minibar, safe, and satellite TV. The bathroom is equipped with hairdryer, shower and courtesy line.
Junior Suite Roma
The Junior Suite, with its large French balcony, has a spectacular view of the Norman Cathedral of Tropea and consists of a large double bedroom with bathroom. Furnished with antique and modern furniture, vaulted ceiling and floor with cement tiles, the suite is equipped with air conditioning, heating, minibar, safe, and satellite TV. The bathroom is equipped with hairdryer, large open shower and courtesy line.
Il Palazzo
Palazzo Iannelli - D'Aquino, where the Suites Pastis Boutique B&B is located, is one of the oldest palaces in Tropea; located in front of the Norman Cathedral, the palace, which for centuries was the home of the noble D'Acquino family and then Iannelli, was built in 1500 AD.
After the earthquake of 1783, the building was stabilized using a chaining technique; the "Y" -shaped irons positioned to anchor the tie rods that cross the entire building from one side to the other are still visible on the external surfaces of the building.
In 1700 A.D. on the pre-existing facade a large granite portal has been inserted; which due to its shape and size is the object of attention by the numerous tourists visiting Largo Duomo.

Unbelievable friendly and heartly owner and staff. Amazing and really careful completely renovated historical building which is perfectly located in the historical and attractive city center. The Breakfast is outstanding and well prepared with love . Expectation were outperformed.
Just amazing, everything is better than you expect! We stayed here for one week with our small kids and we couldn't have been happier! The suite was in a fantastic old building with views over the Duomo and the cozy, narrow streets of Tropea. We really loved all the amazing details and how close it was to all the restaurants, viewpoints and the beaches. The host, Alessandro, is very kind and helpful and makes a lovely breakfast each morning. We wish we have could stayed longer! Don't hesitate to book this place if you have the chance.
The former villa of an Archbishop. Perfectly located and near everything. It was spacious, airy and loved the views. Our host was extremely attentive and lovely to meet. We had a lovely breakfast each day. When I return to Tropea, I will stay here again. It was that good.

Unfortunately we were only in Tropea for 3 days with our 2 children. But we will definitely be back. The apartment is located directly at the cathedral, in the middle of the beautiful old town of Tropea. It is only a short hop to the many restaurants. Alessandro is very nice. A truly beautiful property directly opposite the cathedral right in the heart of lovely Tropea but on a quiet side street, just a few metres from the main pedestrian thoroughfare. Authentic and very stylish interior. Alessandro is a great host and Chiara was very friendly and made us a wonderful breakfast each morning. We loved staying here and will definitely return.
